Score Study


January 16-18, 2017

Three days of intensive Score Study in Manhattan.  Alice shares her experience with many styles of music, and discusses the process from the composer's intention to the written page.

This year we will study the Brahms German Requiem along wih the Melodious Accord Hymnal and other of Alice's compositions:  Alice promises a new perpective on the requiem and a joyful time of singing new and familiar Parker works.  

Come early and join us for our annual  SPIRITUALS SING in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Sunday, January 16th (optional).  Classes will run from 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. on Monday through Wednesday.

Minimum class size 4, no maximum.

Fee:  $20 non-refundable application fee plus $300 tuition  (Housing not included)


Participants are responsible for making their own housing arrangements.

Bring scores for the Brahms Requiem and a Melodious Accord Hymnal if you have one.  Some hymnals will be available for purhase.
